Giles Algar
Extensive experience with drive and leadership
Giles joined Hyperdestiny from the client side. He brings a mix of project management and new product development. He has a track record of delivery in high pressure environments working for Lloyds TSB, Concentric networks, London Electricity (EDF) and Cable and Wireless where he was a Director of Marketing.
South African born, and with extensive advertising and marketing experience Giles had a desire to lead the strategic opportunities brought about by the internet and came to England where he has applied technology into the business value chain.
When he is not at work he will be on the mountain bike on the single tracks of the Guildford hills or in water either swimming at the club in Weybridge. Giles is currently training for the world masters swimming championships in Slovenia. He is also planning the next surf trip to Cape Verde.
Educated with a an MBA, a Bachelors degree in Marketing and Economics and a Diploma in Television production management from the University of Natal Giles is happiest driving projects to completion.
He is the helmsman.
